CHP officer from Visalia area arrest Orlando Rosalez who sustained major injuries in collision near Lemon Hill Recreation Area

TULARE COUNTY – Not everything was cheery and bright over the holiday weekend for three Tulare County residents. In particular for one alleged drunk driver from Visalia and a Three Rivers man whose car hit.

At approximately 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26 California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers from the Visalia area responded to a two vehicle, injury collision, on State Route 198 at the Lemon Hill Recreation Area at the Lake Drive exit.

The preliminary investigation determined the following information Orlando Rosalez from Visalia was driving a 2001 Lexus westbound on Route 198, approaching the T-intersection of the Lemon Hill Recreation Area, at a high rate of speed, and under the influence of alcohol.

Scott Doyle, from Three Rivers was driving a 2020 Ford, had just exited the recreation area and was completing a left turn to eastbound Route 198 when the Lexus veered across the double yellow line into the eastbound lane. The Lexus collided into the left side of the Ford. Doyle was uninjured in the collision. Rosalez was pinned in the driver's seat of the Lexus and was extricated by Tulare County Fire. He sustained major injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital by Life Flight.

Adam Bony, also from Visalia and passenger in the 2001 Lexus, sustained a minor injury and was transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital by ambulance. Viewsonic wizard cd rom download for pc. At approximately 5:30 p.m., CHP officers from the Fresno Area responded to a call of a two-vehicle traffic collision which occurred on Hill Avenue at Adams Avenue, in the County of Fresno. A preliminary investigation indicates an unidentified 81-year-old male from Orosi, was driving a Toyota Tacoma pickup on northbound Hill Avenue, approaching the intersection of Adams Avenue. Paulino Ybarra, 41, from Fresno was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup, eastbound on Adams Avenue approaching Hill Avenue. At this location, Hill Avenue is controlled by stop signs and Adams Avenue is uncontrolled. As the Toyota approached the intersection, the driver failed to observe the stop sign and entered the intersection without stopping. Subsequently, the Toyota struck the right front side of the Chevrolet. Both vehicles traveled in a northeasterly direction, where the Chevrolet struck a dry drainage ditch and overturned, coming to rest on its side. The Toyota came to rest on its wheels in the drainage ditch. Despite wearing a seat belt, the driver of the Toyota succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At approximately 4:45 a.m., CHP officers from the Porterville area responded to a collision which occurred on State Route 65, north of Avenue 32. A preliminary investigation determined a male driver referred to as E. Quinones was driving a semitruck southbound on Route 65, north of Avenue 32, at an unknown speed. Another male driver referred to as R. Marron was driving a Dodge southbound on Route 65, behind the semi, with an unidentified 26-year-old passenger. The Dodge attempted to pass the semi in the opposing traffic lane. While passing, the Dodge veered right, colliding with the semi and overturning into a field west of Route 65. As a result of this collision, the 26-year-old passenger in the Dodge sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Marron sustained major injuries and was transported to Kern Medical Center for treatment. Quinones sustained no injuries as a result of the collision. Alcohol or drug impairment are not believed to have been a contributing factor in this collision. This collision remains under investigation.
